The immersive and interactive installation "Archive Dreaming" by Refik Anadol featured a 360 degree projection in which visitors could navigate through the massive archive of SALT Galery in real-time. The archive was represented in a real-time image cloud that featured millions of images that where sorted in 3D space with the help of TSNE, an AI algorithm used for dimensional reduction. It was exhibited in SALT Gallery in Istanbul, then at Ars Electronica Festival 2017. It had an occurrence at Siggraph 2018 presentation and in 2019 it was installed in Beijing and won several awards I was lead software engeneer and designed and implemented the software and visuals using VVVV and a custom compute shader engine to get hold on the difficult task to visualize so many images in real-time and 360 degree.
