About: Luna Nane

Luna Nane is an artist in the field of interactive multi-media. Her focus is to approach social and environmental topics with the multi-layerd use of creative-technologies. Elements from data-visualization, AI, generative graphics and experimental film are the base for her works and in combination form a unique visual language.

For the last 12 years she has been combining cutting-edge technologies into interactive installations, data-sculptures and performances both in her own work and freelance for renowned artists and agencies. In this time she developed a strong coding background.

After completing the Masters in Interface Cultures at the University of Linz in 2016, she relocated to Berlin, becoming parent and starting gender transition. This live changing experience forms the background for the current body of works, which focuses on queer feminist perspectives on AI, body and identity politics and on societal and environmental issues that have special impact on marginalized communities.
